Contract and booking deposit

The current lease shall apply exclusively to a temporary and non-commercial rental. Premises can only be occupied as a secondary residence. It is understood that Tenant shall in no way use it as a base to carry out any activity of a commercial or professional nature.
To confirm a reservation, the Tenant must sign and return the leasing agreement to PARISIAN HOME. This document must be accompanied by a 50% deposit as per the agreement. Payment of the 50% deposit may be made by cash, certified bank draft, cashier's check, travelers checks, wire transfer, or by credit card.

Balance and security deposit

The contract includes the payment of a security deposit by the Tenant, whatever the type of accommodations. This security deposit is used to cover possible defaults of the Tenant.
Sums to be paid for rent, taxes (including city, visitor’s tax and other taxes) as well as other charges, including a security deposit, are spelled out in the aforementioned contract.
The security deposit will not produce interest and cannot, under any circumstances, be considered as partial payment of rents due. It shall be refunded, minus any amount withheld to cover repairs to premises. Restitution of money due may take place during the month of departure or, at the latest, two months after the Tenant's departure according to the French executive order of 8 January 1993. The security deposit, minus any amount for repairs, will be refunded by crediting the Tenant's credit card.
The process of confirming a reservation requires a 50% security deposit.

The Tenant shall pay the balance at least fifteen days before arrival.

Payment by credit card

When payment is by credit card , the Tenant has to pay a 5% fees.
All bank fees will be charged to the Tenant when payment is done by transfer.
Payment by VISA or MasterCard is accepted.
Payment by American Express is not accepted.

Clean state of the apartment

Apartments are clean at the moment of arrival. Please maintain the rented space in order and, at the end of the stay, leave the premises in clean condition and good repair.
On the day of departure, if the state of the apartment is not satisfactory, any necessary cleaning required will be charged to the Tenant. For a residence of one month or longer, PARISIAN HOME has the right to check the apartment, by appointment. If PARISIAN HOME agent observes that the apartment is not in a reasonably clean state, the agency reserves the right to have the apartment cleaned and deduct any cost from the security deposit.

Prices

The minimum stay is equal to seven nights.Please contact us for a stay less than seven nights.

It should be noted that, under the present rental agreement, premises cannot be occupied by more than the number of people stated therein, except for special authorization from PARISIAN HOME. If no such authorization is given, PARISIAN HOME is entitled to extra payment, or will have the option to withhold altogether access to the premises. If these conditions are not respected, PARISIAN HOME will deduct compensation from the security deposit.
In the case that damages caused by the client result in a delay in renting the apartment, the price of the nights in which the apartment cannot be rented will be charged to the Tenant.

Delayed payment

The Tenant shall pay the rent and taxes (and any incidental damages) as mentioned in the contract either at least fifteen days before arrival, or at the latest the first day of each month if the stay is longer than three months. The keys will be given only if the whole amount has been paid. If delay of the payment is more than 5 days, a late payment penalty will be charged. In this case, PARISIAN HOME reserves the right to charge a 10% increase for the contentious charges.

Additional services

For your convenience we offer the following additional services:

• Baby crib rental: 61 € per stay
  
• Fax reception at our office: 1,5 € per page
  
• Extra cleaning: 22 € per hour
  
• Extra change of linens and towels: 37 € per extra change
  
• Extra keys: On the day of your arrival, you will be given one set of keys. We can provide a second set, if you need one.Please note there is an extra fee if you need a third set. The price depends on the keys.
  
• Door to door welcoming service: We are able to reserve a car service for you upon your arrival (from the airport to the apartment) and for your departure (from the apartment to the airport).
  
• Laundry: PARISIAN HOME offers a laundry service. Your clothes will be collected at your apartment, washed and ironed, and then returned to you at your apartment. Prices will be available in your apartment.
  
• Wine: You will find a bottle of wine, compliments of PARISIAN HOME upon your arrival in the apartment.

Check-in and check-out

You are free to choose your date of arrival and you can arrive any day of the week. You should notify PARISIAN HOME at least one week in advance of the day and precise time of arrival. The apartment keys will be at your disposal at our office from 9 a.m until 7 p.m, Monday to Friday on the day of your arrival. If we book the shuttle for you from the airport to the apartment, the driver will give you the keys. If there is a departure from the apartment the day of your arrival, you will be able to leave your luggage in the apartment from 10 a.m, but arrival in the apartment begins at 3 p.m (after the cleaning is done). Early check-in is possible if the apartment is ready. If not, you can leave your luggage at our office from 9 a.m while the cleaning is done. If you want a PARISIAN HOME agent to welcome you at the apartment, we are available from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m to 7 p.m, for an extra fee of 35 €. For week-end arrivals (Saturday and Sunday) and bank days holidays (January 1, May 1, May 8, July 14, August 15, November 1, November 11, December 25), the full cost of the stay is due at least 7 days before your arrival and the keys will be at your disposal in a safe spot. Please contact us for the information. We can also book a shuttle for you for weekend and bank holiday arrivals
Remember: keep the letter of confirmation with you, as it contains vital information about the building (code, floor, door left or right). For security reasons we can not leave this information together with the keys in the safe spot.

Check out

During the week, from Monday until Friday, the check-out time is before 10 a.m. Premises must be vacated on the date and at the time stated in the contract. You must call the agency two days before your departure to inform us of the hour of your check out. Otherwise,the check-out will be at 10:00a.m. For weekend departures and bank holidays (January 1, May 1, May 8, July 14, August 15, November 1, November 11, December 25), you will be instructed where to leave the keys. Meters will be checked on the next Monday morning and PARISIAN HOME will deduct from the security deposit the amount for the electricity and telephone. If an agent of PH observes damage after your departure, we will inform you and deduct the amount from the security deposit.

Cancellation and reduction of the term

Should the amount paid up front to reserve the apartment be labelled as "on general account," either the Tenant or PARISIAN HOME may withdraw from the lease obligation under the following conditions:
In case of cancellation fifteen days or less before the arrival, the Tenant owes the full amount of the rent. In the case of cancellation more than fifteen days before the arrival, the Tenant forfeits the deposit.
A notice is required at least two months in advance for the cancellation of contracts. Reductions for long stay will be cancelled if the term of the contract is reduced.
The monthly cost in use will be charged.

Material statement and furniture inventory

A statement summarizing the material condition of the premises and a furniture inventory shall be established and its terms agreed upon by both parties at that time. They will be sent together with the contract. Tenant shall have three days to dispute the terms of the premises inspection either at the time of arrival or after departure. If an inspection document has not been submitted, it is understood that the Tenant found the premises in satisfactory condition and will leave them in a similar condition.

Pets

Introducing pets (dogs, cats, etc.) on the premises is forbidden, unless prior authorization has been obtained from PARISIAN HOME. Such authorization is predicated on the animal’s behavior and neighbors' possible reactions.

Insurance

Our insurance policy guarantees damages to be paid for the Tenant's and other occupants’ personal effects in the case of fire, explosion or water damage. The insurance will guarantee rental responsibilities and resort of the neighbors and thirds.

Guest-owner relationship

From the moment that the client enters in contact with PARISIAN HOME, Tenant is no way allowed to pay the owner directly. And if an apartment is rented at first with PARISIAN HOME, in no way is the client allowed to re-rent the apartment directly with the owner. The contract will be done by PARISIAN HOME and the tenant has to pay the agency directly.

Ornamental fire places

Some of our apartments have a fireplace. Be aware that:
It is forbidden to start a fire in the fireplace. All fireplaces are for decorative purposes only.

Owners' personal effects in apartments

Please do not add items of furniture or other furnishings other than linens and miscellaneous small items and do not move the furniture around and/or alter the general layout of the premises, except with special authorization from PARISIAN HOME.

Comments

While we will do everything possible to accommodate our clients' requests, we are not responsible for situations which might affect room/apartment rentals or delays in arrival, such as strikes, failure of previous guests to vacate or other causes or conditions beyond our control.
