The neighborhood

Monceau, Étoile, Champs Élysées

The west of Paris is an invitation to explore the posh side of town. You will discover Haute Couture houses, luxury stores, chic restaurants and renowned galleries. In the famous Avenue des Champs Élysées you will meet both tourists and business people.
At one end rises the Arc de Triomphe and at he other appears the Obelisque of the Place de la Concorde, where Louis XVI and Robespierre, among others, were guillotined. At night, the wonderfully illuminated avenue offers fans its theaters and museums. The Presidential Residence and the Ministry of the Interior are just a few strides away.

The curious will want to adventure a little futher up, to an English garden designed as a cabinet of curiosity: river, bridges and even an Egyptian pyramid … Parc Monceau attracts joggers, families and dreamers. Surrounded by the most elegant town houses designed in the late nineteenth century by Baron Haussmann, his iconic style is visible along the grand boulevards all the way to Bastille.
