You will have an enchanting stay in the city in one of the few Paris vacation rentals on this discreet and self-contained island. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17th century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays, where you can join the locals in sitting along watching the world go by, or even bring a picnic.Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l'Île. There is a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, delicate chocolate and food shops, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé. Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre, the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité. The nearest metro stops to this Paris rental apartment are Cité, St Michel Notre Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. The RER B will take you directly to and from CDG and ORLY airports.

Located on the 2nd floor of a building without a lift. The access is secured by a door code and a second gate with an intercom.
The windows are double glazed and the apartment gives on a courtyard, therefore you will be in a very quiet environment.

Layout:

This 40sqm apartment has a main room and a mezzanine with a double bed.The main room is organized in several areas. The living-room features a sofabed (140x200, two sleeps), a desk and an armchair. The dining area features a dining table for four people, under the mezzanine (note that you can stand up without any problem under the mezzanine). The fitted kitchen is open on the dining area. The mezzanine features a double bed (140x200) and closets. You will also be able to store your clothes in the wardrobe on the main floor. The bathroom has been recently renewed, it features a lovely walk-in shower, a washbasin and the toilets. The apartment is comfortable and extremely quiet, this will be much appreciated as the main street of the Island can be a bit noisy. It has all the features of traditional French apartment, wooden floor, decorative chimney, exposed beams, with a modern kitchen and a contemporary bathroom.
