The apartment as Seen by Gaëlle Rigou of Parisian Home.
Renovated in the late 1980s, the district of rue Montorgueil is an extension of Les Halles. Its streets, recently paved, are now prohibited to traffic. Montorgueil is a market street where mariners, cheesemakers and bakers line up: colors and perfumes that recall the country villages. Many restaurants and bars can be found in the surrounding streets.

Poissonnières, Lafayette, Gare du Nord
The Grands Boulevards district offers you many small shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues as well as a market that evokes Paris as we imagine it. Rue Lafayette and its surroundings are surely the most familiar Paris.
On these main Haussmannian arteries are spread the shopping windows of the capital including Galeries Lafayette, with its magnificent stained glass dome, and Printemps, the two famous Parisian department stores where you will certainly find what you are looking for. Going up the rue La Fayette, you will come across the Poissonière district which takes its name from the path that the fishmongers of the Middle Ages took to deliver their goods to Les Halles.
The district inhabits the Gare du Nord, an architextural masterpiece of the nineteenth century with its stone façade and glass canopy. Witnessing the passage of diverse populations coming from trains, this station serves many European cities such as Brussels, London and Amsterdam. Fast food and hotels dominate, but more traditional bars and cafes are also present in the landscape.
