Renovated at the end of 1980s, the area surrounding the rue Montorgueil and metro Sentier has seen a renaissance in the last years. This used to be the center of the textile industry in Paris, but now guests will find cobble stone pedestrian streets lined with outdoor markets and many restaurants. The atmosphere gives the impression of a small village on market day while still be a short walk to the major transportation center of Les Halles and Chatelet.
Building and orientation

The apartment is located on the second floor of an old building, well-maintained and with secure access. The building features an elevator. The apartment has views both on the street (from the living room) and on a courtyard (from the bedroom).

Layout of the apartment

This charming 60m² apartment was recently renovated and is in the heart of one of the liveliest areas in Paris. It is equipped with a kitchen with a fridge-freezer, stove tops and a dishwasher.

The first bedroom is has a 140 cm double bed and a wardrobe and has views on a quiet and large inner courtyard.

The second bedroom is past the kitchen and has two twin beds that can be joined to form a double bed.

The living room is bright thanks to its 2 large windows leading to a small balcony, and it offers a 140 cm sofa bed, a TV, a dining table and a modern-designed table.

The decoration is very modern with dark wooden floors and mint green touches.

Nice apartment, nice location

We enjoyed our nine night stay. The apartment was bright and spacious. There were only two of us in this two-bedroom apartment and we chose to sleep in the courtyard facing bedroom because it was more quite than the street facing bedroom and because it had a full en suite bathroom. The kitchen was much larger than in other apartments we have rented in Paris and had a full oven and large frig/freezer. The building common area was nice and had an easy-to-use elevator. The neighborhood was great -- no shortage of bars and restaurants and only a short walk to the river.

Great location, spacious apartment

Our family of four had a comfortable stay at this apartment. The two-bedroom layout was great, and it had all the basic amenities we needed for our stay. We loved the location, though it's on a very busy street, which was a bit noisy at night. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

Loved the apartment!!!

This two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of five.
When we got into the apartment it was very clean, the linens are fresh and not worn out.
There were plenty of extra linens if needed in the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The kitchen could have used a couple extra towels and an oven mitt or two.
The location was very central to Metro stations and restaurants, grocery store, etc. And Starbucks!
We would recommend this apartment without hesitation.
Oh, could of used one more chair at the table.

A nice, large apartment centrally located

The apartment was easy to find and was in a good location in Paris, close enough to walk to many attractions yet not in the busy center. It was clean and comfortable and had a roomy, large interior. The only issue we had was that we had two separate communication strings, which caused quite a bit of confusion. I booked the apartment through airbnb but got e-mails outside of airbnb from the Parisian Home group which manages the apartment. I received e-mail instructions from our host, Samuel, detailing how we would acquire our keys and entrance into the apartment, but then I received a second e-mail from Parisian Home which gave me different instructions, causing us to make an unnecessary side stop and delayed our rendezvous with Samuel. It was easy enough to correct but could have been made simpler without the two different communications. Overall, a very nice and comfortable place to stay.
