Everything was fine except only one thing. Does not correspond to description, instead of “view of the city” you can see only the wall of the house several m apart. Complete absence of the toilet paper was another surprise, because we arrived very late and were not able to buy anything.

Quiet studio in vibrant area

Facing the inside courtyard the apartment was very quiet, but just a few minutes walk from the front door was all the Parisian art and dining you could wish for.

Living in Paris

My stay in this apartment was comfortable and central. I enjoyed its proximity to sites and transportation. The apartment provided all the amenities I needed. Although the shower size is adequate for me, keep in mind that it would not accommodate a large/wide person.

Expect what you get and enjoy

We expected the apartment to be small. It was but hey! who cares? Why be indoors in Paris in June?
It was spotlessly clean and although there were electric hot plates and a microwave, there are just SO many cafés and bistros nearby that we ate out all the time.
The shower is tiny but the water pressure and temperature of the water absolutely fine.
The best part about this apartment was the location. If you want a place away from the frenetic pace of the Marais, where you can experience local Parisians going about their daily life, then this location is perfect. One thing we were very concerned about was the fold-out bed. It was absolutely fine- read very comfortable.
When we were in Paris the weather was a very pleasant 20 to 25 degrees so no air-conditioning needed. I did notice an evaporative air conditioner in the cupboard but can't vouch for how effective it would be when the weather was warmer and more humid.
In short, if you have realistic expectations, this is great value for money in an A+ location!
