The apartment is in a good location, near the subway, supermarkets and restaurants. The street is not very busy and noisy all day long, although it's a little bit shady with a "massage" place right next door and a strip club down the street; and, paradoxically, there is also the back of a church right in front of the building and the bells can't be a problem if you are trying to sleep in. Sometimes there is also some kind of reunion in the church in a room which windows is right in front of the windows of the apartment and there will be a group of people looking at you.
The building doesn't have a elevator, and the stairs are very old and narrow, difficult to bring your luggage to the apartment, in the 3rd floor. The apartment itself is a studio with a bedroom/living room/ kitchen combo and a separated bathroom, with a shower, toilet and sink. The sofa bed is a little bit uncomfortable. The wardrobe is a little bit small for 2 people staying for a long period that doesn't want to keep all there clothes in the luggage. The mini-refrigerator is big enough for you to keep a 3-to-4 days of food, so trips to the grocery stores will happen very often. The kitchen supplies are very good and will be enough for making your daily meals. The washing/drying machine is good, and you also have a small place to hang your clothes inside the bathroom; you also have an iron and an ironing board. There is also a good vacuum cleaner and a dishwasher. The apartment gets very hot in the summer and there is no air conditioner or fan.
The staff from Parisian Home is very helpful, I had a problem with the washing machine and contact then by email and they send someone to fix it the next day.
When we got there the apartment was cleaned with towels for 2, bed linen set up with a cleaned spare one on the wardrobe. We've stayed there for 31 days and one thing the could be available for people who stay long periods is a cleaning day once every 2 weeks. Overall we had and average to good experience in this apartment.
